What’s better – acai juice or pills?
I’m finding conflicting information – one source says the berries lose potency soon after harvest, so the juice is not very effective.. Is this true? Does anybody have positive/negative experiences? I’m trying to boost my energy and immune system.
haha- still conflicting advice! but, thanks guys, i appreciate the feedback! bee pollen, ey? hm. will have to look into that.

It’s partially true. The berries do lose potency soon after harvest, and that’s why any company that uses even decent quality will only get the berries that were flash-frozen (or at least quickly frozen) to maintain as much of the health benefits as possible.
Because of that, both the juice and the pills should have about the same nutrients, but the juice will have a higher quantity (more of the nutrients) per dose. Truth be told, most of the people I’ve talked to that say they prefer the capsules either don’t like the taste or they prefer the convenience of the pills over the juice. It’s really a personal preference.
We have a lot of customers that really like Acai because of the great antioxidant benefits which help the immune system among other things. I’ve talked to people that say they take it because it helps them to not get sick. A few people have said that they like the energy they get from it, but most people get much more energy from other nutrients (like Bee Pollen, Ginseng, or a dozen other products). Good luck!
