What is the best weight loss supplement you have used? How much weight did you lose and in how much time?

My office is doing a "Biggest Losers" competition and some of my teammates want to try out a supplement to assist us. What have you tried that has worked, and what have you tried that hasn’t? I know you can’t rely on the pills alone, and believe me, we have pulled all kinds of recipes and different food ideas together as well. We just really want to lose big!!!
And most of us have the equipment and time to work out, I know that plays a factor as well.

Weight loss supplements are not the best resolution.

If you are looking to loose weight quickly and keep it stable, you have to balance exercise with a healthy diet. In the long run, developing anorexic habits and then resuming your old diet afterwards, will ony cause you to gian more weight than you already have! This means that one day you may like your figure, but a month later you may swell up like a balloon.

Also, you want to avoid depression, so becareful about your eating habits. A diet consisting of a mixture of fruits and vegetables, will lower your craving for sweets and increase the nutritious value of your meals. Your face will be glowing and your cheeks will be that right shade of red, due to the fact that your skin will be nourished properly.

Make sure that you drink at least one glass of orange juice each morning; this would ensure that you are taking your daily recommended intake of Vitamin C.

You can reduce the amount of calories you intake, and still maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating at least 3 full meals a day. This includes: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

    For ex.
For Breakfast-A bowl of wheat cerial and milk.
For Lunch-Rice marinated with different vegetables.
For Dinner-A bowl of vegetable meat soup.

If you really feel that you must eat something in between, do not turn to snacks such as chocolate and chips. Eat apples, bannanas, or any other type of fruit. They increase your energy supply without causing you to insistently need more to keep your energy level stable.

Don’t forget that chocolate and sweets give you a boost of energy which does not last, diminishing your energy level after minutes. This is why you always need more of them eventhough you are stuffed!

Also, avoid takeout food which is really greasy. It contains a high calorie intake eventhough it does not satisfy hunger.

During the winter, it’s difficult to excercise outdoors. Try joining a local fitness gym, where you can use tread machines and weights. Who knows, taken yoga classes may help reduce your stress! =)I hope this helps.

Eat 500 calories less than you normally should everyday and then do as much exercise biking a day as you can (1-2 hours a day should be enough).

That way you’ll lose as much fat as you can.

    You really dont need pills. Try these tips;
    1) eat when you’re hungry not for pleasure or as a pastime.
    2) you dont need to finish everything on your plate. Stop when you’ve had enough.
    3) Dont bring chocolates into work and then in the same breath talk about weight watchers
    4) If you’re depressed do something other than eat
    5) Lift your feet while walking & dont shuffle or waddle. You will burn off calories without even knowing.

My most successful diet has been cutting out carbs. Just eating lean protein and lots of green& orange & red veggies., raw or cooked. Lots of water (8-10) glasses a day.
Did this for 2 weeks, then started adding fruit. It works great. But you have to give up bread, sugar, noodles, potatoes, rice, etc. Don’t eat white or processed food. It’s amazing how the weight comes off with this diet! But you can’t cheat or it won’t work. I had tuna salad on lettuce when I got really hungry. Good Luck and you can do it.
