What is an effective weight-loss supplement?

I want to drop 10-15 lbs, and I am looking for something that is an affordable supplement that will help me lose the weight quickly. Anything that requires minimal exercise would be ideal. I try to eat healthy and try to eat less, but it never seems to give me any kind of results.
I also don’t want to use anything like SlimQuick or Hydroxycut…none of that, because I know that you will gain the weight back twice as bad once you stop taking it.

    I totally know where you’re coming from – before I lost weight, I tried Hydroxycut and it made me really dizzy and gave me these awful headaches. I suppose that’s how you lose weight with it – you feel too sick to eat :) lol

    And eating right and exercising have their place, but I never really got the results I wanted with them alone. Like I’d drop a bunch of weight at first, but then I’d plateau and not lose another pound – even if I was starving myself and going to the gym everyday! I really only started to see the results I wanted when I started using acai berry and another supplement to clean out my system and boost my metabolism.

    theres no magic pill that will make you lose weight without exercise….watch what you eat and your portions and do cardio 3-5 times a week….but if you do want a quick fix to you weight issues go to your nearest ghetto and pick up some crack at the corner store, that will help

    Alright, well I do not have any diet-plans for you like Weight Watchers or such.
    However, I have made myself a plan that works fairly well. In 2 weeks, I shed 10 pounds…
    Okay, so here goes.
    Eat small, healthy, filling but not stuffing meals that can keep you good until the next meal. (lunch, dinner, and breakfast)
    Avoid unhealthy snacking. Stick to granola, fruit…anything organic for snacks if you are wicked hungry.
    Switch from sugar drinks, beers, and coffees to water. Plain old water. I did so, and somehow my taste for sugar drinks was lost. haha
    Do little excersises in your room b4 bed, like crunches and sit ups for like 10 minutes every night. It adds up, and it’s hardy a workout lol
    Don’t eat after 7:30. Activity isn’t made then usually. therefore the calories will just stay.
    Run around every now and then and kick a ball. FUN!! lol
    Do fun excersises, like ice skating or hockey, or sleddding. Buillding snwomen burns 600 cals. =)

    When you’re shopping for a weight loss supplements there are some things that you should watch out for because if you’re not careful you might end up taking a supplement that harmful ingredients or something that could cause a bad reaction to medicine that you’re already taking. Because there is no FDA oversight of these supplements sometimes there are some very unhealthy things in them. Watch out for these things when you’re at the store picking a weight loss pills:

    1. Over the top promises – Any weight loss supplements that promises that you can eat whatever you want and
    still lose weight is a sham. Any weight loss supplement that says you can lose 10 pounds in seven days or lose dress sizes in a few days is either lying, or else is not particularly safe.

    Usually the products that promise ultra fast weight loss are nothing more than diuretics that will help flush water out of your system so that you will drop a few pounds of ‘water weight’. If you want to lose some water weight quickly it’s safer to take a simple over the counter diuretic, just make sure that you don’t get dehydrated.

    2. Illegal ingredients – Even though ephedra and other dangerous weight loss herbs have been outlawed by the FDA you can still find them used in products that you can buy online or sometimes in stores that have old stock.     5. How long it takes to work – Usually if a product promises to work within days you’ll know the product is something you should pass on as too good to be true. But if the product claims it takes months to be effective you should pass on those too because that is a good indication that the product doesn’t really work and the company just wants to make sure you continue buying it for months before you catch on.

    Hello, Nawtzeehalo. If you are lucky enough to use a weight loss supplement and not end up with worse problems than when you started, then you would also be doubly lucky to keep that weight off.. because it is only a temporary solution after all. I see you understand that about two other supplements, but this is a problem with them in general, not just those two. Let me explain further…

    There is something you need to understand about why people stay at certain weight categories. The heavier you are, the more calories your body naturally burns per day. So if you average out their eating habits, they will eventually hit a weight number where their loss from being that big evens out with their calorie intake.

    In other words, if you use a pill to drop 20 pounds and don’t change a single habit, you will just go right back up. They are called, "weight loss supplements" for a reason! I do not condone their use, but you can clearly see in the term that they are meant to only supplement your current plan.

    If you want an alternative that you can check out, I’ll link a new diet I’ve been hearing about below so you can read up on it. Remember though, if you absolutely must use a weight loss supplement, have a good plan to go along with it, don’t use it alone!

    You need to make sure that you both excercise and eat healthy if you want to achieve the changes in weight you desire. There are no quick fixes, but there are plenty of different methods you can use to achieve the body that you desire.

    I think there is logic in it because as I experienced it, the more I press myself in eating less, the more I feel deprived and when an opportunity comes where I find an excuse for eating, I eat much more than I normally eat before.
