No, you dont need to worry about any side affect of taking acai berry is its is a natural fruit.
It isnt modified by any human means at all, so you need not worry about chemical additives that may harm your body.
Eating acai berry is as safe as eating any other fruit in the world !

I did not experience any weird side effects, just added energy leading to weight loss! Acai is just a berry, so there should not be any side effects.
I take Acai Berry Blast: http://sarasweightloss.org/AcaiBerryBlastFREEtrial
People can claim its a scam all day. I just keep taking it and keep losing weight and feeling wonderful. and I know that I can cancel at anytime because I have talked to the company and they are very responsive.

Hi: I got scammed by an acai company, and I don’t want to see that happen to you. In particular, be very cautious about ordering free trials of acai. Do a search for "Acai Berry Scams" on google.
I am speaking from personal experience. I ordered a free trial of Acai Berry Power 500. On my next credit card, I noticed an extra charge of $29.95 from that acai company. I called them and they said I had agreed to a personal nutrition consultation for $29.95. Long story short, I had to threaten them with a lawsuit before they refunded that extra charge.
I also ordere Acai Berry Supreme. A few weeks later, I got another bottle in the mail, even though I never asked for it. I left the shipping box unopened and wrote on it: Return to Sender. Do Not Charge My Credit Card for This Product. Then I put the item back in a mailbox. I am worried about what my next credit card will say. I’ve heard of people being charged $89 for the next shipment.
So, did I make my point?
If not, take a look at this link:

Acai is a fruit grown in central and south America. I don’t know if all the powders and juices do any good at all. However, if you still want to try acai, I would go to the following link and click on Organic Acai Supplements. That’s the only way I would buy this stuff. You can get it in most health food stores.

Hi,
I personally use the acai Berry juice. I get it form a company that is certified organic form the top certification in the USA and is a member of the BBB. I have had no unusual side effects from there product. You will go more at first, it is a juice blend. It is all so detoxing your system. After that you will notice better energy, stamina and I get better sleep. I use the juice for my overall health. Hope this answers your questions.
Good Luck

I don’t know anyone who has experienced any adverse side effects.
There is an article on the side effects over at http://acaiberrydiet.us/acai-berry-diet/acai-berry-side-effects
But, as always, you should probably read the label carefully, especially if you are prone to allergens.

I purchased the Kirkland brand (Costco), which knowingly is not as "good" as some of the more pure products. However, I didn’t get any funny side-effects and the benefit of some antioxidants. Honestly, I just really liked the taste, especially when I cut it with a bit of cold water. YUM!

Acai is a natural fruit, so you shouldn’t have any side effects from taking it. If you do get a bad reaction it is probably because you are taking a supplement that has something else in it with the acai. The first thing you’ll notice when you take it is the boost of energy you get. Here is a list of the other benefits you’ll see soon after taking it on a regular basis:

Hi,
Well the straight forward answer is that you shouldn’t have any side effects from taking pure Acai supplements.
The challenge is getting decent Acai supplements. From my research, the best kind are freeze-dried (other processes may add other ingredients and/or harm the antioxidant value). You can also get Organic, which then ensures that no potential harmfull fertilisers were used in the growing of them.
With juices, other ingredients have to be added. The same rule applies – ie. freeze-dried is best. But check what all the other ingredients used are, and why they are there. I’d suggest that it is safer to use supplements rather than juice – also may be healthier as some juices use sugar.
As with any supplement, also the best thing is to start off with a low dosage and build up rather than jump in and start taking the maximum dosage. Give your body time to realise what is going on.
Trust this helps,
VSC

I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.
Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.
First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…
This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.
However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace .com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn’t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I’ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.
Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.
