Is this Acai Berry supplement safe to use?
My mom recently purchased this from our local vitamin store (called vitamin world-link under). She purchased it in store after hearing about acai berry on the news. She wants to try it out but my sister recently told us there’s a lot of "scam" when it comes to acai berry and how many people are selling products that aren’t legit. What do you think we should do? Thanks for your input!

Acai berry is a great antioxidant, it is pretty bitter tasting, but is so great for you! As an antioxidant, it will help you heal faster, allow your blood to circulate better, and tons of great things..now…
Will this supplement be the cure all!? No!
It will not replace a very hearty vegetable and fruit rich diet, filled with lots of whole grains..
But will it be a great adjunct to a great diet, and regular exercise of coarse!
As far as the company…you have to do your research call up the company ask if they test each bach in regards to the percentage of phytonutrients. That is important.
Some companies have more quality product than others…
Your mom is doing great!

The Acai berry is a scam. very few people actually lose weight using the acai berry supplement, it is a good anti oxidant, but for weight loss, my wife and I found the Itworks line of products, specifically the Itworks Fat Fighters. This is where we get our products from

It is great that you are concerned about scams. The Acai berry is a great antioxidant and a great way to supplement anyone’s diet.It should be safe to use since it is a fruit, unless you have allergies with fruits. Check out the source where your supplements are coming from, ask yourself how long have they been in business. As for Vitamin World they have been in business since 1976, so they are a source you can trust. The second thing you want to look at is what is the percentage of the Acai is in the product. There are many products out there that state the product has the Acai berry, but if there is not much of the berry in the product it may not do too much for you. Learn to read the labels and do your homework!
