Hi there. If the acai berry is help your wife lose weight (whether it actually works I have no experience of) don't you think it will make your son lose weight too, as a little of everything a breastfeeding Mum eats/drinks goes in to the breast milk?

I personally wouldn't have taken any weight loss supplements whilst I was b/feeding my daughter. Your wife hasn't long since had a baby, let her concentrate on him for a while longer, then she can get in to shape in her own time. Meanwhile she needs extra calories about 500 a day to healthily produce breastmilk. So I say don't do it!
