I need to lose some weight before summer!?

I am a 13 year old boy about 5’4 and I am 145. I need to lose 40 pounds before summer and I have no sports what so ever. For breakfast I either have a slim-fast or multi-grain Cheerios. for lunch i have a sandwich with water and a fat free pudding cup. For dinner I have either have multi-grain cheerios or spaghetti or chicken or something that has red pasta sauce. I have no sports and from what calculaters tell me I burn 2083 calories a day. But for some reason I can’t lose weight. What should I do without excersice. also it is too cold to go do outside and don’t say any supplements or acai berry. I dont want to hear it. So what should I do?

    well I personally don’t see you burning 2,083 calories a day that’s alot… but if you do indeed burn that many calories and are not losing weight you may have a thyroid condition in that case you would want to go to the DR and get that checked out… Diet and Cardio exercises are key to weight loss though to answer your question

    Sounds like you just need to kick start your metabolism. Try eating five or six times a day rather than two or three. But make the meals much smaller and make sure they are healthy. Or you could just try cutting down your portions and eating more fruits and veggies. There are also several different supplements that can assist you with weight loss.     Weight loss is a tricky topic. Lots of people are unhappy with their present weight, but most aren’t sure how to change it – and many would be better off staying where they are. You may want to look like the models or actors in magazines and on TV, but those goals might not be healthy or realistic for you. Besides, no magical diet or pill will make you look like someone else.

    Instead of eating 3 meals a day, try eating 5 smaller meals. For breakfast, replace the slim-fast with fruit. Also, make sure you are keeping track of what you are drinking. Slim-fasts have many calories and are meant to supplement a larger meal. Also, use skim milk in your cereal. Even though you are not on any sports you can still exercise. Walking or jogging combined with light weight-training will all help. FYI- The more muscle mass you have the more calories you burn. You can use simple household objects to weight lift (water bottles, cans ect). Hope this helps and keep in mind that 40 pounds is a significant amount of weight to loose. It can take up to a year to shed 40 pounds. Be healthy and patient!
