I joined a gym 5 weeks ago, I began my diet 4 weeks ago. I have only lost 4 pounds, I am so so frustarted?

I am a 33 yr old female, I weigh 150 pounds and am 5’3. I exerciser about a hour of cardio a day, burning an average of 500 calories a day. As far as my diet I try to eat relatively healthy, i do mess up on occasion, but most days I do ok. i eat about 1500 calories a day, drink lots of water, and make sure no meal contains More than 8 grams of fat.Is this slow weight loss normal? I was thinking of starting the special k diet for a week to jump start my weight loss. Is this a good idea? Please please no acai berry info, I am not interested in that crap, sorry.

    Omg I feel really bad for you, cause I started a gym too and I’m seeing not so instant results (but that’s cause I’m an impatient woman xD)

    I actually have the special K shakes for breakfast…and for lunch I have salad (put chicken on it! SOO GOOD) make sure the dressing isnt fattening. Dinner, I have a regular meal, making sure I eat greens. I go to the gym every other day so I dont strain my body.

    I also eat before I go to the gym so I’m not hungry after I work out and ruin my hard work.

    Same here! I’ve been working out and eating healthy for the past 6 weeks or so, but have only lost maybe 5 pounds. Weight loss takes a while to start so be patient and don’t give up!

    its better than losing nothing. have you been to your doctors? you need to be eating foods like fish and salad. skinless chicken and salad. special k is probably only a good idea with skimmed milk. talk to your doctor about your diet and perhaps up your exercise regime to some more time rather than hour. best of luck.
