How should someone that is 13 and 5'9" lose weight healthily?

I am 173 lbs. and my body fat % is 31%, BMI: 26. Acai berry and colon cleanse? whats happening? i’m very active and have an ok diet.

    It appears you may not be as active as you think, or the diet may not be as "ok" as you think. Being thirteen, it may just be a phase you are going through before a growth spurt. That happened to me when I was around that age.

    I’d ask a Doctor what they would suggest.

    In that stage of adolescence, people tend to put on weight. I’d say just stick with exercising and eating well. Don’t start with all those ridiculous cleanses. Ingesting only water with cayenne pepper for three days isn’t healthy. If you’re really concerned, see a doctor and they can give you health tips.

    you can also do little things, like taking the long way to work/school, parking your car farther from the store, take the stairs instead of the elevator, ect
