How do you know if it's water weight lost or real weight?

I lost about 8 lbs in the last month but I don’t know if its water weight, (I take diurex, I went on the Jillian Michaels body cleanse and now I’m doing the Acai Berry cleanse). Is there a way to tell? I know I don’t NEED to lose weight, (I was 110 and now 102,103) but I don’t want to be lectured on that. I just want an answer. Thanks in advance
The goal isn’t to lose water weight. I’m not actually sure I have any. I eat a lot of salt, but I can’t remember the last time I drank water. I usually drink diet tea, sugar free red bull, and coffee. And I can’t really cut anymore calories or I could keel over.

If you feel better and people say you look better, that is a good indication

Based on what you did I would say that is water weight. One way to know for sure is to stop taking the diurex, stop the cleanse, and drink a lot of water, like 10 glasses a day. If it is water weight you lost then it will come back within a week of not using diuretics, not fasting/cleansing, and drinking lots of water.

There is really no reason at all to try to lose water weight. Seriously. It does not benefit your health in any way to lose water weight. In fact, it can be harmful in terms of dehydration and it can actually prevent loss of fat. The reason is that your body needs water to flush the fat out. Also if your body doesn’t have enough water it will hold onto fat as the only liquid it has. So, if you DO actually want to lose fat then you need to quit the diuretics, quit the cleanses, drink lots of water and exercise.
