Hi! I need to lose 20-30 lbs by October! How do I do it?

I am 24 years old and used to weigh far less. I am almost 200 lbs! I am right on the border of not fitting into anything i’ve owned in the past. I had a couple surgeries that have caused me to gain a lot of weight. I am ready to exercise and eat healthy again. I have tried diets like the south beach and other low carb diets. They have worked, but they are very hard to do for a long period of time. Does anyone know of a better diet? Also is there any diet pills or anything like that, that would help me lose the weight faster while dieting. I also am curious as to how the acai berry diet works. Does anyone recommend something that is fast and effective. I am willing to exercise because I am athletic, but I want to know the best diet or diet supplements to help me. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Listen i’m 21 and i lost 16 pounds in 1 and half month i’ll tell you how. NO I AM NOT SELLING ANYTHING so just keep on reading. I’m sorry you had surgeries.

    Diets are a pain man.. trust me being on a diet will just make you gain more weight since you get cravings and stuff your mouth like a pig.

    If you want to lose weight quickly, do like i did.

    I jog 35 minutes everyday! Begin with 5 mins one day, 10 the next, 15, then take a day off, then do 25, etc etc until you reach 35 minutes. Get 1 day rest a week. 3 times a week, lift small weights but in big repetitions so that you feel your muscles burn. You’ll get very toned muscles and won’t get any muscle weight since you want to lose weight. You will burn much fat trust me.

    Drink 8 glasses of water a day, do not eat sugar. Lower your carbohydrate intake. Eat nuts, fresh vegetables, alot of buckwheat!!!!

    Once a week eat a small portion of whatever you want.

    So far I have done nothing, but talk my dog for a half hour walk everyday, watched what I eat (no seconds), and cut pop and most sweets from my diet and I have lost 13 pounds in one month

    dont do acau berry south beach etc. you can do it on your own. exercise and dont think about food all the time, make yourself busy. move, go out, walk run play. dont eat anything after 6pm.

    Ok… First off start drinking bottled water!!! replace that with ALL your drinks and i guarantee that will be the most important thing. You dont have to restrict food. you can actually eat a lot of healthy food if you want. But theirs no exceptions for drinking 0 calorie water. Stick to it. if you have sugar cravings, just sink your teeth in a grapefruit which has a metabolism boosting effect.

    Next you should exercise slowly starting up again. start at 2-3 miles… then increase too 4 – 5 miles within a month or 2. Stay away from artificialy made foods, corn syrup is GARBAGE, high carb food is BAD. eat whole wheat if you want to eat bread. High fiber is also important, so thats why u eat raw fruits/vegies and whole wheat. You will need to FEEL good if you want to stay motivated to lose weight.

    Cardio, water, only natural foods, and motivation is all you need in a nutshell.
