Sudafed shouldn’t even be on the shelves. While safe for many, others find it can rev up your heart, raise your blood pressure and even trigger a stroke. It is also a key ingredient in methamphetamine. That should tell you enough right there. No pill is going to take the weight away. Get the current issue of Consumer Reports. It has a write up of the best diet and exercise plans (also the safest). Weight Watchers was rated pretty high and I know a few people who have had good results with it. I just worry that these diet pills that contain stimulants will damage your heart. If you’ve got a serious weight issue, then your heart may not be able to take it. I know you want the weight off fast, but the people who love you I’m sure would rather you do it the safe way. Take care, hon!

Sudafed no longer contains pseudoephedrine. This is what would maybe have worked as a weight loss aid. I don’t think Sudafed will kick start your weight loss.

I use Sudafed for what it is intended for…to lose the sinus congestion.
You should take medications for the reasons they are intended for unless you want to develop some addictive habits.

Sudafed sucks for losing weight…. You could do ephedra, caffeine and aspirin, its called an ECA stack if you want to look it up online. It works a little bit, if anything a lot better than sudafed. It might be a little difficult to find online and also you might not want to do it if you are way overweight (like 70+ pounds) or if you are old or have a weak heart.

But I like meridia better, it holds your apetite really well in the beginning. I’ve also done both together.

Sudafed is not used for weight loss. It can also interact with other drugs, and unlike the warnings on some boxes, it will make you drowsy.

It is to clear up a runny nose, to use it at other times will give you dried out nasal passages.

Plus, sudafed is hard on your blood pressure.

It will not suppress your appetite.

Unless its directed to use as a form of weight loss.. I wouldn’t recommend doing it.

I used Metabolife when it had Aphedrine.. and it worked great.. but since its been banned.. It doesn’t work.. I’ve tried it.. so I would say Aphedrine does work.. but its unhealthy.
