Actually acai berry does work but you have to exercise and eat healthy regularly so it does take the same amount of effort as with a regular healthy diet.
But it will boost your weight loss and give you more energy among other things. There is a really cool website about it and it doesn’t hurt teens as it is a natural fruit so its virtually harmless… Anyway here is the link hope this helps.

Bigz S really answered you’re question the best. Acai will provide a natural energy boost which will help as a hunger suppressant. It is also has one of the highest ORAC values of any food.
If you are looking for an acai product you want to make sure they have the ORAC value on the label. Many companies use very low quality acai made from the wrong parts of the fruit itself.
I would not recommend it to anyone under 18 and consult a doctor if you are under age and going to try it anway, my guess is they will give you the same advice.
Definitely do not combine them with a colon cleanse as this is a common diet scam.
