Well, Acai is a fantastic antioxidant and it can help with digestion and metabolism a bit because of that. It’s not a product that is going to specifically force you to lose weight, but it can help assist with a diet and exercise program.
If nothing else, it is very beneficial for overall health, and we have hundreds of customers that buy various Acai products for various reasons.

Old is very correct…acai is fruit not a weight loss aide. Most supplements are low quality and have tons of fillers and additives. I have been drinking acai for close to 3 years now..it is a great source of nutrition

I don’t about the validity of losing weight with Acai Berry supplements. The Acai Berry itself is fibrous and can give you the feeling of being full, so that you eat less. People have been know to lose weight for this reason.

One of the most important things to keep in mind here is that there is *no* magic pill that will make you lose weight all by itself. A healthy, balanced diet with the correct calorie count, supplemented by regular daily exercise it vital in order for any permanent weight loss to happen.
With that said, the acai berry is a great addition to the above two items for the following reasons:
1. The acai berry is considered to be a "Superfood". That is, if you had to, you could survive on nothing but the berry as it is absolutely nutrient packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, folic acid, and so much more. This is essential for maintaining a daily exercise program where you are burning calories and expending energy that needs to be replaced with healthy foods.
2. The acai berry acts as a very mild appetite suppressant. Obviously, this may help you keep your food intake down and your calorie count under control, which again is vital to maintaining a healthy weight over the long term.
Bottom line, does the acai berry help you lose weight? It certainly can, as long as you realize that it needs to be used as an enhancement to healthy eating and exercise, not as a complete replacement for those two!
