Does Acai Berry really work?
I have been hearing about a new weight loss supplement called Acai Berry. "Acai" is a berry that has been discovered in the Amazon Rainforest. It is supposed to help you lose weight by suppressing hunger and boosting energy. Credible people such as Oprah, Dr.Oz, and Rachel Ray have all endorsed this product. I have read lots of information and testimonials from people who claim that it really works. I am thinking about purchasing the free trial offer, but I want to hear from more people who have tried it. I do not fall for every lose weight quick scheme, but this product has really caught my attention. (I plan on exercising if I start using the product). Here is a link to the website I read.

Rachel Ray a credible source? If it worked don’t you think Rachel Ray herself would be thin???
The first answer is correct it’s just the gimmick du jour like every other marketing scheme. For example, whatever happened to all the hoopla over hoodia? It has health benefits but it is not a magic bullet by any means. Everyone looks for an easy way out and if one existed everyone would be thin. Only exercise and diet will help you lose weight.

Some reduction in appetite.. but heavy people rarely overeat because they are hungry. It doesn’t make you lose any weight. It is good in keeping your body strong against disease.

i had it. Its simply a berry thats good for you. But honestly, like all berries and many fruits, its simply healthy, nonfat, yummy and nutritious (plus high in antioxidents) its very good for you but not amazingly different than the many fruits that are good for you. Not worth extra money. Just buy whatever fruit is on sale that day and eat more fruits & veggies

I just ordered mine in Oct and been taking it ever since.
Personally I don’t really know what it does to my body, I feel the same anyhow. It doesn’t boost my energy or help me lose weight. I think it actually delays my period because I’m late and I usually have regular period. The free trial is only $4.95 but after than it’s almost $90 a month. When I called to cancel, I had to wait for 30 minutes until someone picked up. The lady was a little bit rude and was trying to give me a hard time by pretending she can’t hear me or repeating back my information wrong.
I wanted to give it a try and my bf offered to pay for it so I went ahead and ordered’ but I wouldn’t recommend it because I think it just a waste of money and it does nothing to your body.
Hope this will help you in making your decision.
