Do Acai berry supplements really work for weight loss?
I have many questions on this product! First of all, does it actually work? And if so, which is the best kind to use, how much is it, where could I get a free trial. And is it addicting? If I start to use it and the weight comes of, then will I be able to stop using it. I don’t need to loose that much weight, around 25 pounds. I am 5’7 and 130 pounds, and want to be 105 pounds, I want to be a model, and used to be thin.

Ok – all I can say is it has worked for me. I have used acai berry capsules for 4 months and during the first 6 weeks lost 14 pounds. I am carrying on with them to maintain my weight and I have not put any back so far. I found they give me energy to exercise more which really helps. You need to combine with a healthy diet of course they are not miracle pills.
They do not contain any addictive properties as far as I know. I would be wary of the free trials you see – often they need your credit card number and then you cant cancel they don;t answer the phone. I paid upfront – usual price $40 per bottle ( 1 month supply) I got 6 bottles for the price of 3.
You just need to try them to see if they work for you – you need to use them for a while though.

First of all, for your height and weight, your BMI is 20. That is in the "normal" BMI range. Dropping your weight to 105lbs would put you at a BMI of 16, which would be in the underweight BMI range.
It does of course depend on your body type and frame as well, but a BMI of 19 is a perfectly normal and healthy index range.
Also worth pointing out here that weight loss supplements such as Acai, are meant to be just that. A supplement to your weight loss regimen.
In this sense, Acai is exceptional. It works as a fat binder and appetite suppressant and also has cleansing properties.
These weight loss properties come from the nutritional compounds in the berries, such as Fiber, Amino Acids, Omega Oils, Phytosterols and Anthocyanins.
Acai berries are also powerful antioxidants, benefiting overall health and wellness.
Cleansing is good for overall health, not only weight loss, as it flushes harmful toxins and parasites from your system.
Using a good quality supplement can accelerate your weight loss programs and also add valuable additional nutrients to your diet.
As far as being addictive is concerned, I highly doubt there are any concerns there. I haven’t come across any such problems with any of my readers who send me 1000′s of letters and emails every month. Believe me, if there was an issue I would have heard about it.
Weight loss is about sticking to a plan. If you use Acai supplements to boost your plan and then go back to overeating and get off your plan, then yes, the weight will probably come back. This is true of any kind of weight loss though.
I doubt that would be a problem for you though. Your starting point is very good and you are looking more for slimming than drastic weight loss.
For an effective Acai diet supplement, it’s crucial to only use products made from freeze dried Acai pulp extract, as the seeds of the berries have little nutritional value.
Also make sure you know how much of this pulp extract is in the product. For effective weight loss a minimum of 30mg is necessary, 40mg is better, 50mg is optimum.
I’ve listed a couple of links below. The first is for a free trial to a high quality product, the second is for a normal purchase of a similarly high product.
Please note, the free trial is only available in the US.
Hope these help
Thanks, Jan
