Antioxidants, Too Much?

Im 20 years old and have bad anxiety, over the last year its caused me to turn into a health nut, trying to do all I can to stay healthy and prevent disease. I eat a good amount of vegetables and fruits, I also take cranberry supplements for kidneys and Acai berry Supplements. I thought I was doing well until I saw a study about how antioxidants can be bad (im assuming this is just another study to bring attention to the place that conducted it)… I cant see how fruits and veggies which people have lived off off since dawn of time and are here on earth naturally could possible even be considered something harmful.. I just wanted to see what other people think.. Its not like I eat too much of them, I just want to live as natural as possible.

    Claims of "Antioxidants" is mostly marketing hype.

    For example, what’s the big benefit claims of green tea? or Acai berries? Antioxidants! And they charge you accordingly for this added "benefit".

    Thing is, in order for a group of nutritional elements to be called a "vitamin", they require antioxidants to be present. Since many of these foods and magical pills (acai) have little to no whole percentages of vitamins, they claim them to be a good source of "Antioxidants". They aren’t being dishonest, but rather just stretching to truth to obscene levels.

    What’s more appealing to a consumer? Green tea with less then 1% of any vitamins… OR, green tea with antioxidants? Would you pay the high price for acai berries if you knew that they had the same nutritional value as a multivitamin and fiber supplement? Because that’s all it is. It’s a berry. A very well marketed berry, but nothing more.

    Bottom line, Yes you can have too many antioxidants, but the volume is based on its vitamin host.

    do it more than 30 mins per day you will see the effect,
