Acai Berry & Total Cleanse?

=) I just bought them today. I’m excited to try them and if they don’t work then it’s only 9.00 wasted. So it’s really no big deal. But, I’m afraid of what the Total Cleanse does. It is embarrassing to ask. lol But, does it hurt when you have to "go"? I think it’s something good to do, to clean out your body and since I’ve NEVER tried to.. I’m scared!

So if anyone has ever used a colon cleanser, did it hurt at the "backdoor" and did it surprise you with what you seen? :)
Yes I know theres no MAGIC to it =)
I just think that a clean colon would make me feel so much better. There’s no telling what we human accumulate from everything we eat.

My Mother has tried Acai and she did lose a little bit of weight. I’m more concerned on the colon cleansing. It kind of scares me a wee bit. =)
Well I just re-read the terms and conditions. It’s NOT a scam. You must read the fine print. Basically if you do not cancel, because it is a TRIAL, you will continue to be charged for the product. Until you do so. When the money is taken, then a week or so later you should recieve your acai berry. Go to http://www.acaiburn.com/terms-and-conditions.php and read about it there. It is a contract that you must agree too. There is ALWAYS a terms and conditions for everything. Just READ about them… =)
Thanks to those who answered though…

I think I’m going to try the cleanser atleast on the weekend and see how things go.

I have been through it all and know what’s it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can’t be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I’ve worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.

Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.

First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can’t eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising…

This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it’s good for the heart.

However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It’s so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I’ve found a great addition to help any one out, it’s a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don’t get all crazy on me and say diet pills don’t work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn’t meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It’s an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it’s the best pill I’ve tried and I’ve tried cupboards full. Now this doesn’t mean you have to follow my foot steps but I’ve successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

Well good luck and remember what I said, Dedicate.

You might cramp up, so have some advil handy.

But, if you’re doing this to lose weight, you KNOW it’s largely ineffective right? There’s no known product that really does anything for reducing fat tissue in your body… Other than one or two prescription pills that are only 1-5% more effective than normal (when combined with diet and exercise, of course).

ok well i took the acai berry and did not loose any weight. But, i will tell you this, it is a scam. You will get billed $90 for each bottle if you don’t cancel within the first two weeks, i suggest you cancel or you will be in for a big surprise. It happened to my and I’m 22 going on 23. I was trying to loose the baby weight, which i still have not lost. When you purchased the pills it didn’t ask you if you agreed to the terms and conditions, that is because it is at the very bottom of the web page saying you agree to it and that you agree to the charges. I’m telling you, you need to go ahead and cancel because they will charge your account and you will not like it. They will do it for each of your bottles you purchased. My brother drinks the green tea and he has lost weight. Green tea is supposed to help your metabolism. If you really want something that will cleanse your system, they have some at GNC and you can ask them what is appropriate. Or go on a liquid diet once a week and it will cleanse your system out naturally. I hope this helps!

Alas, what you are trying is a gimmick, but probably not harmful. I’ve seen it advertised online, as if told by a real person who came up with the idea to put the two things together…and every story I’ve read is slightly different, and the chick’s name is different.

A colon cleanse will empty the contents of your colon, it does not burn fat. Sorry. Like having a stomach flu for a couple of days, you’ll get on the scales afterward and see a few pounds of ‘loss’ but all that is from is dehydration, vomiting, and diarrhea…not fat lost/burned.

Your best bet, as always, is to eat right and exercise. Sorry, there just are no big short cuts or magic bullets.
