Acai Berry supplements?
I’ve heard that acai berry is good for you, but when looking on the internet, I see that there are many supplements. I’ve also seen that some of these are scams and that some of these products don’t have as much acai berry in them making them not as effective.
One of the products I came accross is Ultra Acai Berry is this a scam? I found it in this website:
http://www.ultraacaisuperfood.com/
And I also came accross this website comparing supplements:
http://www.oprah-best-acai.com/
So my question is, based on your experience, on or what you know, which is the best acai berry supplement and where can I get it and how did it help you. Thanks for all of your information.
Also, I just found out that you could buy it at GNC stores, and that they also have a variety of supplements. So which would be the best supplement to buy at GNC?

Curious Girl, Acai berries are a newly discovered berry that has some healthy characteristics. The acai berry is really high in anti-oxidants and really helps people loose weight . There are lots of health advantages to acai berries, but they must be frozen right after harvest to make sure they retain thier maximum potency. One of the most populat brands of acai suppleiments is acai berry power 500. Lately, many talk show hosts have done profiles on the health benefits of acai. http://www.americaschoicetoday.com/Acai-Berry.html

Hi curious I didnt have any problems with it at all and lost more or less 20lbs in a few weeks. I liked it because its natural which I think is important nowadays. If you not sure about trying it I would certainly give it a go. I guess you are a bit like and keep seeing the latest fad diet. It will work for anyone as long as you have the desire to lose weight. If you not sure which one to try have a look at the trials a http://linkbee.com/FV9H or one of the other ones on the internet. I did read that there are quite a lot of fakes on the internet so be careful. I used to try all the exercise regimes known and didnt have much luck. This worked for me though.
Good luck !

Ads for Acai berry products have flooded the market recently. Open your email and you will probably find half a dozen sales pitches for acai berries every day. On top of that, if you look to the right of what you read on Yahoo Answers, you will often find more pay-per-click ads for the very same products.
Yes, Oprah has endorsed the product, and there is plenty of scientific research–some of it cited below—backing up the fact that acai berries are full of potent anti-oxidants, one of the chief allies of our immune systems. Acai berries from the Amazon rain forest are not something new. Natives have eaten them for centuries, even though we may consider them to be something new and exotic.
Researchers at the University of Florida have analyzed the acai berry extensively. Dr. Stephen Talcott, director of the stidy, found that the anti-oxidants in acai berries destroyed cultured human cancer cells.
This small, dark blue berry is packed with natural antioxidants, including vitamin C, vitamin E and special phytonutrients called anthocyanins. An important tool for ensuring our diets contain enough anti-oxidants is the ORAC (oxygen radical absorbance capacity) scale developed by the USDA. Anti-oxidants destroy harmful free radicals.. Acai berries rank very high on the list
The proliferation of shady businesses on the internet has not been confined to the acai berry business; it is rampant everywhere. Many complaints have been filed about companies that continue to bill customers for shipments of acai berry products, long after the customers have demanded that shipments be discontinued. Beware of the so-called free trial offers.
Your best bet would be to go to a health food store like GNC, and talk to a knowledgeable person. Ask what percent of the product they sell is acai berry, and what percent is filler and preservative. Ask if they stock different brands of acai berry products. Buy as small an amount as you can of whatever looks best, and then see if you feel better after using the product. If you enjoy it, then you can probably find it online at a discount, but you may be able to negotiate a discount with GNC too.
Whatever you do, don’t sign up for any automatic shipping plans online, unless you relish the idea of spending hours on the telephone, trying to convince the company to stop shipping and to notify your credit card company that you want to stop payments to them. I suggest making one-time purchases only, and first checking with the Better Business Bureau and reports of unethical business practices, if any.
Just remember one thing. During the California Gold Rush, the people who got rich were those who sold picks, shovels and jeans, not the ones who went mining for gold. Google is getting rich on the acai berry ads, no matter how saturated the market gets.
