Acai Berry help please?
I just bought the acai berry pills. I don’t care if you think they work or not, I am using it to gain energy and the many positive outcomes of taking the pill. I have never taken a dietary supplement before so I am not sure what it means by take 2 a day as a dietary supplement. Should I take one in the morning and one when I usually eat dinner? Or both in the morning? Thanks in advance.
haha thanks. and yes it did come with instructions but all it said was "take 2 capsules daily, as a dietary supplement"
Actually, sir, I did not buy them off a scam website and I have done research on them and have friends who bought it as well. It does not require a lot of energy to ask a question and click to see an answer. I am aware of the credit card scams they got people with and if you must know I bought them off of amazon and used a visa gift card. If they work or don’t, I did not lose any money. But thanks for judging me jackass
hah, okay cause you can actually tell by my question how I researched and how smart my friends are? Impressing…

did it not come with instructions?
I’d say you want to split it up, one in the morning and one in the afternoon (I’d say evening but if it’s going to give you energy you don’t want to take it too close to bed time or you’ll have trouble sleeping.)
EDIT: Dave is right. If you purchased this product over the net you need to make sure to check your credit card statement regularly because they put through additional charges that are defined in the teeny tiny print of the agreement when you make the purchase. It’s a pain in the a$S to make them stop.
EDIT2: oh, good – at least you were kinda smart about it

Do you ask people on the net when to eat blueberries? Or strawberries? Or raisins? Eat them whenever you want, deep down you know you’ve been scammed for a fake product with fake claims made for it. It has no detectable positive outcomes from eating it and you’ve used up far more energy asking this question, and worrying about when to eat them, than you’ll ever get from the berries themselves!
I hope you didn’t buy them from the net via a credit card? If so check your account for multiple withdrawals.
Edit: You don’t know what ‘research’ means, you read a few websites and asked some of your similarly dim friends.
You got ripped off for a handful of dried fruit, deal with it and don’t take your frustrations out on others.

Oh, sweet mercy. It is a sad day for all of us when we need instructions on how to eat food.
Dave is 100% correct. This berry is just a berry. But it is the biggest marketing hype I have ever seen. By encapsulating it and making fantastic claims about it they have convinced people that it will "boost energy" and "cause weight loss", when it will do neither, any more than blueberries or strawberries would. The only sites who tout this berry as some kind of miracle are not reputable ones. You are reading their propaganda.
Ugh. Anyway, take ‘em whenever you want. With or without food doesn’t really matter, because they ARE food. Unless they are in softgel capsules, in which case I would take them WITH food because the emulsifiers in the capsules would break down better on a full stomach.

Call a pharmacy and ask the pharmacist what is the best way to take them.
I have always heard that vitamins should be taken after you eat.

Dietary changes:
Small changes really add up. I cut cola out of my diet and it’s helped a lot.
If you don’t have time to cook healthy meals buy a slow cooker. Chop up a bunch of veggies and some meat, throw it all in with some water and you have a healthy meal…but in a slow cooker you can get the food cut up and in the cooker in the morning and have it ready for dinner.
Exercise:
I walk my son to and from school so I’m making activity a part of my life, while the walk alone won’t drastically change me overnight the concept or idea of working fitness into your daily routine and can really help. Walk instead of taking a car/bus not only does it save you money on gas/bus fair but it’s a great way to squeeze in that extra bit of exercise.
While you are studying take jumping jack breaks, not only does this incorporate exercise into your day but in increases the oxygen flow to your brain which keeps you more focused and helps you learn things easier.
When you are reading class material try doing bicep curls, before long it will be second nature and you’ll be able to focus on the reading while squeezing in that extra bit of exercise. (just use some light weight dumbbells that can be stored in your desk/out of the way). You could also use a resistance band if you prefer.
If you can wake up 20 minutes earlier try squeezing in the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels. It is an interval training dvd and everyone I know has had results from using it, best of all each session is only 20 minutes long.
Healthy supplements can increase the vitamins and anti-oxidents in your body and help your metabolism run faster.
I hope these ideas help you, good luck =)
