acai berry, colon cleanser, and birth control pills all together?
my bf recently bought me the colon cleanse pills and the acai berry pills for me to try, and on top of those I am taking birth control pills. Will taking all these pills all together affect me in any way? Of course I’m taking them at different time intervals, but I know someone who took the colon cleanse along with the acai berry pills, but dont know if it will affect my birth control pills. Thansk
Thanks sue, you are the serious answer that I was waiting for. I didnt try to find a short way out of this, I excercise for 2 hours a day and dont eat that much, but my bf bought these pills for me as a present as a result of him witnessing me being miserable. So I just wanted to give it a try. Its impossible for me to get knocked up since we have a long distance relationship, and wont see eachother until September, by then, hopefully I will be off of those pills. I just dont want him to be disappointed you know, since it is a gift..
doesnt make me sit on the toilet…yet, but as soon as I took a pill of the acai berry, i’ve been having this vomitting feeling, like I want to throw up all the things I just ate.

NO. Do not do this. Seriously.
Here’s what could easily happen:
Possibility 1: The colon cleanser stuff messes with the birth control pills’ effectiveness, causing you to get knocked up and therefore ruin your life.
Possibility 2: The acai berry crap makes you sick and/or also renders the birth control pills ineffective, causing you to get knocked up and therefore kiss your freedom goodbye.
Possibility 3: Neither of the weight loss pills affects your birth control pills effectiveness, but the acai berry or colon cleanser stuff jerk with your system and make you sick, or cause damage in some way.
Just eat about 1,200 calories, exercise regularly, drink enough water, and forget the easy way out, because there isn’t one, and if you look for one it’s going to wreak havoc on your body in one way or another. If you do decide to fill your body with dangerous crap, at least drink enough water so that you don’t get dehydrated if the pills have you sitting on the toilet all night, puking, going to the bathroom too much, or whatever.
Edit: I’m sorry if I sounded rude. It just really upsets me when people have a tough time losing weight and turn to pills to help, then mess up their body. I was trying to sound serious so that it would maybe scare you enough or whoever else is reading and considering pills to avoid them. I spent some time in pro-ana forums and I have read about what pills can do. I wish I could somehow make it easier for you to lose weight, but the only relatively safe way to go about it is exercising (cardio) a little more, and eating a little less. And if you still don’t lose weight that way, maybe seeing a doctor to get your thyroid, blood sugar, etc. checked would be a good start. It’s tough, but dangerous pills aren’t the answer, especially not new ones that they can’t possibly know all the effects of yet.
